The process is not only an opportunity for users to share their experiences and take a critical look at a project, it is also an opportunity for them to hear, in return, the various constraints (technical, financial or political) imposed on a project. This appropriation allows us to give depth to the project&#8217;s timeframe by showing users the various essential stages of the urban project. This pedagogical aspect is particularly important when a participatory approach is implemented over time. We&#8217;re currently experimenting with this with the support of the Citizen&#8217;s Council of Outreau&#8217;s Tour du Renard district. Our regular involvement over more than a year has not only created a bond of trust between the citizens and the community, but also &#8220;trained&#8221; the members of the Citizens&#8217; Council in the urban renewal process.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6b5ba9f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default qodef-elementor-content-no\" data-id=\"6b5ba9f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-f69b92a\" data-id=\"f69b92a\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eab3642 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eab3642\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Our methods of citizen participation<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0a7e573 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0a7e573\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Citizen participation can take many forms, such as indoor consultation workshops, on-site surveys, participation stands in public spaces, urban walks, surveys or public forums. Our tools are based on a variety of media: cartography, expression walls, questionnaires, flash surveys, photo language, idea posters, perception emoticons, tools for determining usage values&#8230;<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We adapt all these methods and tools to the challenges and demands of the players involved, in order to find the most appropriate modus operandi.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By incorporating this feedback into the design process, planners and decision-makers can create more suitable and welcoming spaces.
